Jason Ritter Set for Recurring Role on David E. Kelley's Amazon Series GOLIATH

Deadline reports that Jason Ritter (Parenthood) has signed on for a recurring role on Amazon's upcoming original series GOLIATH, from executive producer David E. Kelley. The actor will join previously announced cast members Billy Bob Thornton, William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby and Maria Bello in the drama set to premiere on October 14th.

Described as "the ultimate David vs. Goliath battle fought in the 21st century American legal system, the show will center on "down-and-out lawyer (Thornton) as he seeks redemption. His one shot depends on getting justice in a legal system where truth has become a commodity, and the scales of justice have never been more heavily weighed toward the rich and powerful."

Jason Ritter was recently seen on NBC's soapy drama series PARENTHOOD and has a recurring role on Comedy Central's ANOTHER PERIOD and HBO's Girls. He will soon be seen on the big screen in The Tale, opposite Laura Dern.
