Jamie Lee Curtis has joined the ensemble cast of "Knives Out," Rian Johnson's newest movie, according to Variety.
The film stars Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, and Ana de Armas. The film will be written, directed, and produced by Johnson, with Ram Bergman producing, too.
"Knives Out" is a modern-day murder mystery in the classic whodunit style, infused with Johnson's original voice that informed films from "Brick" to "Looper." Craig will star as a detective assigned to solve the crime.
Production is set to begin on the film in November.
Jamie Lee Curtis can currently be seen in the hit horror film reboot "Halloween." The film set box office records, grossing $76.2 million in its opening weekend.
Curtis won two Golden Globes for best actress in a musical or comedy TV series for "Anything but Love," and best actress in a motion picture - musical or comedy for "True Lies." She just released a children's book, "Me, My SELFIE and I."
