Jamie Foxx is a hard working man of showbusiness, with Hollywood blockbusters under his belt and chart topping songs to his name, and now the star is set to return to his television roots with a new sketch-comedy show on Fox, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The network has given Foxx the go ahead to produce a comedy pilot, which will team the comedian up with his former 'In Living Color' colleagues, writers Fax Bahr and Adam Small -- Foxx appeared on Fox starting with the third season of 'In Living Color,' a 'SNL' type series created by Keenen and Damon Wayans.

While THR's story doesn't mention that Foxx will appear in the new show, comedian Affion Crockett is attached to star and writers Bahr and Small will bring their sketch-comedy talents seeing how the two are credited with creating another Fox series, 'MadTV.'

Since the new show has yet to be titled, Videogum.com has come up with some funny possible names including 'The Jaime Fox is Seriously So Awful I Hate Him Hour With An Urban Twist' and 'Ray and Friends,' the latter obviously a nod to Foxx's Oscar-winning turn as Ray Charles in the 2004 film 'Ray.'
