It's finals week and tensions are high when the second episode of "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team" airs Thursdays at 11/10c on CMT. Auditions for the world's most elite professional cheerleading squad are down to the wire, and only the best out of the 80-plus girls will make the cut. Even veteran cheerleaders are on the bubble as they face fierce competition.

This week, fan-favorite and hard-nosed dance coach Kitty Carter returns to whip the new recruits into shape, and in true Kitty style - she holds nothing back. New recruits and returning vets will audition solo and face the panel of judges where their poise is tested through a series of tough questions about current events, sports and specifically the Dallas Cowboys organization. ABOUT "DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM":
It's the 10th anniversary season of "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team" on CMT, and longtime director Kelli Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell have no easy task this year as they are forced to replace 13 veterans from the team. DCC veteran Melissa Rycroft ("Dancing With The Stars," "The Bachelor") also returns to help with the arduous task of judging and mentoring the new recruits talented enough to make training camp with hopes they make it to the opening game.
Hundreds of hopefuls will compete to fulfill their lifelong dream of becoming an elite Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. The eight-episode series follows this year's hopefuls through triumphs, tears and a whole lot of hairspray as they vie for a spot on the country's most coveted squad. Dreams are crushed and tempers flare as the competition is fierce and cutthroat with only the best of the best making the team.
