Mobile developer Jam City has announced a partnership with Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment to create a new mobile video game called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, as reported by ComingSoon.net.
This video game will be unlike any other Harry Potter game. It will allow users to create their own characters and experience what it's like to be a Hogwarts student. Players can progress through the years at Hogwarts, just like Harry and the gang. Characters can attend classes, such as Defense Against the Dark Arts and participate in activities, like Dueling Club. Classic Hogwarts professors will also make appearances in the game.
Co-founder and CEO of Jam City, Chris DeWolfe, shares his excitement about the news.
"What an honor it is for Jam City to develop a mobile game for one of the largest and most iconic brands in history. As Harry Potter fanatics ourselves, we have great respect for the millions of people throughout the world who have followed the Harry Potter stories for more than 20 years. This game is a labor of love for our developers and artists, who are dedicated to creating the most magical entertainment and game play experience for everyone who adores J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World," he said.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will be available on the App Store, on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore in 2018.
