Indycar Returns To Pocono Raceway This Sunday On NBCSN  Image

The Verizon IndyCar Series travels to the iconic Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., this weekend, as NBC Sports presents comprehensive coverage of the ABC Supply 500 on NBCSN, highlighted by live race coverage on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app - NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs - will provide live streaming coverage of the ABC Supply 500.

NBC Sports' motorsports coverage this weekend will also feature live coverage of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Budds Creek National on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold, and a twin bill of Monster Energy Cup and Xfinity Series races under the lights from Bristol Motor Speedway, in Bristol, Tenn.

INDYCAR ABC SUPPLY 500 AT POCONO RACEWAY - SUNDAY AT 2 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Verizon IndyCar Series returns to Pocono Raceway this weekend with just four races remaining on the 2018 schedule. Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) is in search of his fifth career IndyCar series championship, as he leads Alexander Rossi (Andretti Autosport) by 48 points in the driver standings with just four races remaining in the season. Defending series champion Josef Newgarden (Team Penske) sits in third place, 60 points behind Dixon.

Dixon will be an in-studio guest on NASCAR America tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET from NBC Sports Group's headquarters in Stamford, Conn., joining host Carolyn Manno to preview the upcoming weekend at Pocono.

Live coverage from Pocono Raceway begins Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying, which will feature Paul Tracy and Townsend Bell moving out of the broadcast booth to provide analysis from pit lane, with Leigh Diffey up in the booth alongside Robin Miller and Jon Beekhuis. Pre-race coverage on IndyCar Live Presented by Verizon on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET will include a Robin Miller essay on Alexander Rossi as he attempts to chase down Scott Dixon in the driver standings.

Lead IndyCar play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey will call this weekend's ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway alongside analyst and former drivers Paul Tracy and Townsend Bell. Robin Miller, Kevin Lee, Jon Beekhuis and Katie Hargitt will report from the pits.

NBC Sports is the exclusive television home of the Verizon IndyCar Series in the United States. Following the final nine races of this season on NBCSN, NBC Sports will present all present all IndyCar races, qualifying, practices, and Indy Lights races across its platforms beginning in 2019, including the Indianapolis 500 and an additional seven races on NBC.

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL - SATURDAY ON NBCSN AND NBC SPORTS GOLD

NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this Saturday with coverage of the Budds Creek National from Budds Creek Motocross Park in St. Mary's County, Md., on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold - NBC Sports Digital's direct-to-consumer live-streaming product.

In addition, NBC Sports Gold's "Pro Motocross Pass" will super-serve the passionate Motocross fan base with live, commercial-free coverage of qualifiers and 1st and 2nd motos of the Budds Creek National.

Marvin Musquin earned his third victory of the season last weekend at the Unadilla National in New Berlin, N.Y., to move within 15 points of defending series champion Eli Tomac (448) in the overall 450 class point standings with just two races remaining in the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season. Dylan Ferrandis swept the 250 class at Unadilla National.

Jason Weigandt will handle play-by-play duties for this weekend's coverage of the Budds Creek National alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston and pit reporter Will Christien.
