Following successful screenings at AMC Theatres in Florida and New York City, Brad Jacobowitz's dark comedy The Pizza Boy, has been released on DVD. The Pizza Boy is available on Amazon.com and Amazon Instant Video. Written and directed by Jacobowitz, The Pizza Boy is a portrait of the disgruntled working class man in modern times. Brad (Brad Jacobowitz) has come to a violent crossroads where he will choose whether to make life changes for the better or go down a path of destruction. The Pizza Boy premiered at AMC Loews 19th Street in NewYork City on January, 29th, 2013. Entertainment reporter Robin Milling called the film "an entertaining killer comedy from first time writer, director and star, Brad Jacobowitz."
Andrew Benjamin from the Queens Chronicle Newspaper wrote following the NYC screening, "The Pizza Boy is a great first effort by director, writer and actor Brad Jacobowitz. He captures the frustrations that many working class people face in today's economic climate. The supporting cast as well delivers natural performances, such as Brad's parents who are tired of their 30-year-old son living with them. I look forward to seeing Jacobowitz's future work."
