Identity of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS "A" to be Revealed on Season Finale

As first reported on EWonline, ABC Family's hit drama series, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS will be revealing the identity of the mysterious troublemaker "A", on the show's season finale in March.   

The character's identitiy has been the center of a deep mystery since their friend Alison was found murdered during the series premiere season.  Through text messages, "A" has been promising to announce the secrets of the four main characters on the show.  Until now, viewers have received no clues as to whether the character is a male or female. 

The network has not releassed details as to how "A"'s identity will be revealed, but according to creator and executive producer Marlene King,  “This finale is virgin territory in the sense that we are answering some ultra huge questions. We’re giving the audience a lot to digest and talk about between seasons two and three. For the entire cast and crew, lips are sealed and excitement is at an all time high. To steal a line from the finale script, ‘This feels big.’” 

In addition to revealing the secret identity, the show's finale will also include the arrest of Alison's murderer and the death of a popular character.  The season finale is set to air March 19, 2012.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS begins the second half of Season 2 on Monday, January 2, at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
