Ice Cube Set to Star, Produce New Series for FX

As first reported on Deadline.com, Ice Cube is set to star and executive produce a new dramatic series for FX entitled 'Eye For An Eye'.  The new show comes from Ice Cube's Cube Vision as well as Jeff Kwatinetz's Prospect Park. According to the report, no writer has been chosen to pen the script for the project.

The hip-hop singer will play a seasoned paramedic who begins to snap after seeing one too many victims struggling for survival in the back of his ambulence.  He decides to become a vigilante as he seeks revenge for all the ill deeds he has witnessed.  His life soon begins to fall apart as he struggles to regain control of his actions. 

Ice Cube is currently serving as executive producer of TBS's 'Are We There Yet? based on the 2005 film. He is set to next appear on the big screen in Rampart and 21 Jump Street.
