Ian Brennan of 'Glee' to Receive Just for Laughs Writing Award

Ian Brennan, co-creator of the hit Fox television series 'Glee,' will be awarded the Comedy Writer of the Year Award at this year's Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.  Brennan will accept the award on behalf of himself and co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy.

Other award winners will include Aziz Ansari (Breakout Comedy Star), Donald Glover (Best Rising Comedy Star of the Year), and Second City (Lifetime Achievement).

The Just for Laughs Festival is a comedy festival held yearly in Montreal.  It features established comedy stars, as well as street performances throughout the festival.  At this year's festival, Phil Rosenthal and John Woldenberg will present their film 'Exporting Raymond,' a comedic documentary about translating 'Everybody Loves Raymond' into Russian.  For more information on the festival, visit www.hahaha.com.
