Howard Stern to Replace Piers Morgan on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT?

According to The Wall Street Journal, shock jock Howard Stern is in negotiations to replace Piers Morgan as a judge on the hit NBC show AMERICA'S GOT TALENT.  The show would move its filming location to New York in order to accomodate the Sirius XM radio host's schedule.  

Sources report that Stern would receive as much as $15 million to join the show as a judge.  Details as to how long Stern's contract would run have not been disclosed. In 2010, Stern signed a contract with Sirius XM to keep his radio show on the air for another five years. 

Piers Morgan announced this week that he will not be returning to America's Got Talent next season in order to focus on his CNN series.

There has been on official comfirmation of the report from Howard Stern's representatives.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT will return in the summer of 2012 on NBC.
