It's an epidemic overrunning New York City - the apparent rise of homeless people living on the streets of Manhattan. But who's to blame and how can the city help get people off the streets? Mary Brosnahan, President and CEO of the Coalition For The Homeless joins MetroFocus with an in-depth look at the problem and the solutions.

As Jewish people prepare to fast for Yom Kippur, MetroFocus whets all of our appetites with favorites to break the fast and more. Michael Moss, investigative reporter and author of the New York Times bestseller, "Salt, Sugar, Fat: How The Food Giants Hooked Us," tells us how to separate the sodium from the spin.
