omeTowne Television® (HTTV, Fred Honold, President), a local 501(c)(3) non-profit local access station and video production company is proud to announce its 2016-2017 programming schedule. HomeTowne Television serves as a hyper-local media outlet (broadcast and web) for immediate and surrounding communities. The station is partially funded by the City of Summit with special grants and contributions from its viewers, and serves as a venue for local businesses to widen their reach to customers. While HTTV serves more than 30 towns in Union, Morris, Essex, and Somerset counties, viewers who do not have TV access to HTTV, can access the station's high quality programming online via Youtube @ HomeTowne Television® and both live and online at HTTV's HomeCasting® Video on Demand. HOMETOWNE TELEVISIONâ, showcases people, events and issues important to you, our viewer. We provide community news, coverage of local events, municipal government meetings; information regarding fitness, health and finance topics; and programs about culture, art, education, religion, sports and other subjects of local interest. The station recently announced its self-produced programming for Fall 2016.

Mr. Socks Rocks
Kids will have a "Whola Latta Love" for Rock after this show! Journey along with Mr. Socks (Paul Fessock) and his puppet pal, Heavy Metal Stan as they perform, entertain, and promote a fun and entertaining educational experience for the entire family. Each episode is geared to help kids develop their love of music with non stop play, entertaining lessons, chats with guests, comedy sketches, and arts and crafts.

In addition to these HTTV-produced programs, the station runs a community bulletin board and exciting programming from other not-for-profit stations throughout the United States. Special programs throughout the year air on the station including features and events from HTTV's community partners including Paper Mill Playhouse, Overlook Medical Center, Shakespeare Theater of NJ, Millburn Township, City of Summit, Investors Bank, The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, among others.

HomeTowne Television is located at 70 Maple Street in Summit, New Jersey 07901, inside the Central Presbyterian Church, on the crossroads of Maple Street and Morris Avenue.
