HollywoodChicago.Com Offers ‘Dinner For Schmucks’ Giveaway

HollywoodChicago.com offers an all expenses paid flyaway package for the upcoming movie, "Dinner For Schmucks." The film, which stars Steve Carel and Paul Rudd, opens on July 30th.

The flyaway package includes free airfare, three-night hotel accommodations, four day car rental, dinner and complimentary admission to various area attractions for the winner and three of their friends to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

To enter to win this "Lucky Schmuck" giveaway, submit name, age, e-mail address and mailing address in this Web-based form. Also, contestants must answer the question: Why do you and your "schmucks" (i.e. idiot friends) most deserve a getaway to Florida? HollywoodChicago.com is offering 25 runners-up an admit-two pass to attend the advance screening of "Dinner for Schmucks" on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 7 p.m. in Chicago. The grand-prize flyaway package winner will be awarded at this screening. In addition, eight of the film's soundtrack will be given out.

The comedy "Dinner for Schmucks" tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd). He's an up-and-coming executive who has just received his first invitation to the "dinner for idiots," which is a monthly event hosted by his boss that promises bragging rights (and maybe more) to the executive who shows up with the biggest buffoon.

Tim's fiancée, Julie, finds it distasteful. Tim agrees to skip the dinner until he bumps into Barry (Steve Carell). Barry is an IRS employee who devotes his spare time to building elaborate taxidermy mouse dioramas. Tim quickly realizes he has struck idiot gold.

Tim can't resist and invites Barry. Barry's blundering good intentions soon sends Tim's life into a frenzied downward spiral and a series of comic misadventures. This threatens a major business deal by bringing crazy stalker ex-girlfriend Darla back into Tim's life and driving Julie (or so Tim thinks) into the arms of another man.
