Holly Sonders, one of golf's most recognizable television personalities, joins Fox Sports to serve its family of channels as a golf reporter and host of the network's coverage of the USGA championships beginning in 2015. Sonders will also serve as a sideline reporter during NFL coverage. The announcement was made today by John Entz, Executive Vice president, Production & Executive Producer, Fox Sports and Mark Loomis, Coordinating Golf Producer, FOX Sports.

"We are very pleased to be able to add one of golf's rising television stars to our coverage," said Loomis. "Holly's quickly become one of the sport's most popular broadcasters among fans and players and her unique personality and passion for the game is evident every time she is on the air."

"I am thrilled and honored to join the Fox Sports team and to be a part of their fresh, innovative approaches to the game of golf. I also look forward to contributing to its NFL coverage as well as other Fox Sports properties," said Sonders.

She joins host Joe Buck and analyst Greg Norman as members of the Fox Sports Golf team.

Sonders joins Fox Sports from the Golf Channel/NBC, where she co-hosted Morning Drive, a daily golf talk show and School of Golf. Sonders also hosted Playing Lessons, another instructional program that offers exclusive insight into the lives and skills of the world's top pros.

Prior to the Golf Channel, Sonders was a news and sports reporter with KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas, and worked as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network for the 2009 season. She began her career in sports television working for WBNS-10 TV in Columbus, Ohio.

Sonders' golf background extends far beyond her broadcasting career. She played golf for four years at Michigan State University where she helped the team win the Big Ten Championship in 2007. More recently, Sonders has shown her skills competing in PGA TOUR pro-ams like the Humana Challenge and she frequently plays celebrity pro-ams.

A native of Marysville, Ohio, Sonders graduated from MSU in 2009 with a degree in Communications.
