Henry Winkler to Guest on New Season of PARKS AND RECREATION

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Winkler will guest star on the upcoming sixth season of the NBC comedy PARKS AND RECREATION.

The actor will portray the father of Ben Schwartz's Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz). The 'Happy Days' star will first appear in the seaon's premiere episode, airing Thursday, September 26 at 8/7c. No details have been released as to whether is character will recur later on in the seaon.

Winkler is best known for his role as Fonzie in the 1970s sitcom Happy Days. "The Fonz", a leather-clad greaser and automechanic, started out as a minor character at the show's beginning, but had achieved top billing by the time the show ended. He currently stars as Sy Mittleman on Childrens Hospital and has made guest appearances on Arrested Development.
