Hallmark Channel's celebration of June Weddings culminated this Saturday, June 27th with the original world premiere of A COUNTRY WEDDING garnering a 2.1 HH rating, becoming the #1 rated program of the day and the top-rated movie of the week.
The premiere also became the most-watched original June premiere among households (1.8 million) and total viewers (2.2 million) in network history. In its 9-11pm time period,

In A Country Wedding, a country western star (Jesse Metcalfe) returns to his hometown to sell his childhood home prior to his wedding. Upon his arrival, he meets the girl he proposed to when he was 8-years-old and she helps plan the wedding in his fiancé's absence. Faced with old feelings that come flooding back, he will discover what really matters in life.
