Transporting viewers back to the days of go-go dancers, mod mini-skirts and swinging pop-rock sounds, HULLABALOO - A '60s FLASHBACK (MY MUSIC) is the first-ever retrospective of the fondly-remembered and highly-influential 1965-66 NBC-TV primetime series Hullabaloo. The top singers and groups of the hippest decade present their greatest hits, blending the British Invasion with folk-rock and classic rhythm and blues -- all accentuated with the youthful energy of the legendary Hullabaloo dancers. Hosted by Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, HULLABALOO - A '60S POP FLASHBACK premieres nationwide on PBS stations beginning March 2, 2013(check local listings).

Returning to television for the first first time in over forty years, the musical melting pot of the sixties is on full display in HULLABALOO - A '60s POP FLASHBACK in complete song performances, starting with the joyful pop harmonies of Herman's Hermits ("Can't You Feel My Heartbeat"), Sonny & Cher ("I Got You Babe") and The Four Seasons ("Working My Way Back To You").

The sixties' folk-rock sounds include the million-selling "Mr. Tambourine Man" by The Byrds, "Eve of Destruction," a #1 hitby Barry McGuire, the Pete Seeger-penned "If I Had A Hammer" sung by Trini Lopez, "You Didn't Have To Be So Nice"by troubadour John Sebastian with The Lovin' Spoonful and the classic anthem "California Dreamin'" by The Mamas & The Papas.

Rebellion-fueled rock was part of the scene too, as represented by The Bobby Fuller Four ("I Fought The Law"), The Animals ("It's My Life"), The Outsiders ("Time Won't Let Me"), Nancy Sinatra ("These Boots Are Made For Walkin'") and Paul Revere & The Raiders ("Kicks").

Hullabaloo is also famous for its use of Broadway trained performers who made up the iconic Hullabaloo dancers, including future Tony Award winners (A Chorus Line) Donna McKechnie and Michael Bennett in addition to iconic go-go dancer Lada Edmunds, Jr.

Gary Smith, the Emmy Award-winning creator of "Hullabaloo" has joined forces with TJ Lubinsky, the creator of the PBS My Music series of record-breaking pledge specials, to produce HULLABALOO - A '60s POP FLASHBACK.
