This week, BWW will be asking our readers to predict the winners of the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, airing Sunday, September 22nd (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET / 5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on CBS. Be sure to visit BroadwayTVWorld for complete live coverage of the broadcast!

Despite the impressive list of TV's most respected leading ladies in this category, former teen-star Claire Danes owns the only two previous Emmy wins from this crowd of nominees. However, the group has combined for an impressive 19 nominations amongst them.

HOMELAND's Danes, who rose to fame as the star of MTV's 90's drama MY SO-CALLED LIFE, starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in 1996's ROMEO+JULIET, and went on to star in the Roundabout Theatre Company's PYGMALIAN, opposite four-time Tony-winner Boyd Gaines, in 2007.

Long before BATES MOTEL's Vera Farmiga was flirting with George Clooney in UP IN THE AIR, she appeared on Broadway in 1996's TAKING SIDES, and while Elisabeth Moss is now known as Peggy Olson on AMC's MAD MEN, Moss famously starred opposite four-time Tony-nominee Raul Esparza and Jeremy Piven (for a while) in the 2008 revival of David Mamet's SPEED-THE-PLOW.

Finally, though the former Principal Taylor, Connie Britton, doesn't have any Broadway credits, she is carrying on the TV "Musical" format, now that SMASH is gone, with the Country-centered NASHVILLE. Here she is singing "It's My Life" from the show.

BroadwayWorld Experts' Picks:
Matthew Allen, BWW Columnist: Robin Wright (like the Supporting Actress category, this pick is just to avoid unanimity)
Tyler Peterson, BWW News Desk Reporter: Claire Danes
Cary Robbins, BWW TV Editor & Chief: Claire Danes
Nicole Rosky, BWW Managing Editor: Claire Danes

Disagree with our BWW Experts? Let us know in the comments below.
A) Connie Britton as Rayna James on NASHVILLE
B) Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison on HOMELAND
C) Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary Crawley on DOWNTON ABBEY
D) Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates on BATES MOTEL
E) Elisabeth Moss as Peggy Olson on MAD MEN
F) Robin Wright as Claire Underwood on HOUSE OF CARDS
G) Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope on SCANDAL
