HISTORY and Rockwell Tools today announced a new integrated marketing campaign, "Rock Your Garage," in support of the hit television series Counting Cars and the Rockwell line of home improvement tools and accessories.

The "Rock Your Garage" campaign includes a consumer sweepstakes, media and promotional support on HISTORY's air, a campaign across social and digital platforms and in-store retail promotions in Lowe's stores nationwide.

The centerpiece of the "Rock Your Garage" campaign will be a consumer sweepstakes tied to a Counting Cars Primetime marathon airing on Friday, December 6 on HISTORY.

Running from November 1 through January 31, the "Rock Your Garage" sweepstakes features a grand prize including a restored hot rod; a trip for two to Las Vegas and a visit to Count's Kustoms, the auto shop featured in COUNTING CARS; a complete set of Rockwell tools; and a $500 Lowe's gift card. Visit www.history.com/rockyourgarage for more info on the sweepstakes.

According to Samantha A. Maltin, Senior Vice President of Marketing for HISTORY, "This is a win-win strategic partnership and the first of its kind for HISTORY. Rockwell is leveraging the popularity of Counting Cars to help drive tool sales; Lowe's is offering a differentiated product line in its more than 1,700 stores; and HISTORY has garnered national retail presence for COUNTING CARS, super-serving fans with a more robust consumer experience."

"Our partnership with HISTORY truly reflects the changing dynamics in today's marketing campaigns," said Craig Taylor Vice President of Marketing for Rockwell, part of the Positec Group of companies. "By working together and leveraging all of our resources we were able to create an interactive campaign focused on a unique customer experience, without increasing our budgets. A cooperative program like this one proves that collaboration, innovation and creativity are still the building blocks to standing out from the rest and connecting directly with the consumer."

COUNTING CARS is a spinoff of HISTORY's SMASH hit Pawn Stars. Danny "The Count" Koker is the wheeling, dealing, self-trained proprietor of a Las Vegas auto repair business. He's a one-of-a-kind character who knows everything about anything on wheels. Each vehicle that comes through his shop stands for a different chapter of American history. Obsessed with high-performance cars and choppers, he'll do whatever it takes to get his hands on something he likes, trick it out, and flip it for a profit. COUNTING CARS is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. Zachary Behr and Julian Hobbs are Executive Producers for HISTORY. Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George, and Shawn Witt. Joel Patterson is Co-Executive Producer for Leftfield Pictures.
