HGTV ranked as the #1 cable network among W25-54 and upscale W25-54 on Thursday, July 7. FLIP OR FLOP at 9 p.m. ET/PT, featuring married house flippers Tarek and Christina El Moussa, was the #1 primetime cable program that night among W25-54, averaging a 1.34 rating. The series' ratings performance on Thursday night also placed HGTV in the #2 spot on cable among P25-54 for the night. More than seven million total viewers tuned into the network that evening.
The Thursday night premiere episode of
FLIP OR FLOP garnered a 1.06 rating among viewers P25-54 - making it the highest-rated episode of the current season. The fifth season is on pace to be the highest-rated season of the series, up seven percent from year-ago levels.
