HGTV's FIXER UPPER Shatters Previous Ratings with New Episode

HGTV's top-rated FIXER UPPER shattered its ratings performance to date with a new premiere episode on Tuesday, February 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT that notched a series high rating of 1.6 among viewers P25-54. Tuesday's episode was the #1 telecast on cable and the #3 telecast on all of television among P25-54 and W25-54 ratings and impressions in the 9 p.m.-10 p.m. time slot - beating out two major broadcast networks. The FIXER UPPER episode also attracted the most upscale audience in all of cable on Tuesday night, making it the #1 rated program among upscale P25-54 and W25-54. Starring Chip and Joanna Gaines, FIXER UPPER showcases the married couple as they help home seekers buy fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes.

HGTV was the #1 rated network on Tuesday in primetime among W25-54 and the #4 network among P25-54. More than 8 million total viewers watched HGTV on Tuesday night, making it one of the top five rated nights in HGTV history.
