HGTV has picked up an additional six episodes of Cousins Undercover, the fast-paced and emotionally charged series featuring real-life cousins John Colaneri and Anthony Carrino. Produced by Jane Street Entertainment, the series premiered on Sunday, October 6,at 8 p.m. ET/PT and showcased the popular expert duo as they rallied whole communities to complete life-changing home renovations for one unsuspecting neighbor. During its seven-episode run, Cousins Undercover attracted an upscale viewership. In fact, it ranked #4 overall among W25-54 with HHI $100k+ and #2 overall for W25-54 with HHI $125k+.
From building an in-home wrestling gym for a favorite coach to tearing out walls to accommodate amazing outdoor spaces for those who love to entertain, the Cousins inspired team work and a reignited sense of community with every renovation project featured in the series.
"At its heart,
Cousins Undercover is about the power of community," said Steven Lerner, senior
Vice president, programming and production,
HGTV and DIY Network. "Viewers were definitely inspired by the stories we shared and we believe that many of them were amazed by how much a renovation can impact lives. It certainly doesn't hurt that Anthony and John have universal appeal and enthusiastic personalities that ignite action, but what makes this series work is the people in the communities and their selfless desire to give someone else the home of their dreams."
