With this week's official pick up of full season orders for FLIP OR FLOP series in Chicago, Fort Worth and Nashville, HGTV has affirmed the continued expansion of the popular network franchise. The three newest additions received greenlights after successful pilot airings in February and March. FLIP OR FLOP Chicago, FLIP OR FLOP Fort Worth and FLIP OR FLOP NASHVILLE - all slated to premiere in 2018 - will feature couples that have mastered THE ART OF buying, renovating and selling real estate for a profit in their own town. The first spin-off in the franchise, FLIP OR FLOP Vegas, will premiere on Thursday, April 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, while FLIP OR FLOP Atlanta will premiere in June.
"The original FLIP OR FLOP delivered more than 17 million total viewers this season alone, so we know that the series format appeals to our audience," said Allison Page, general manager, U.S. programming and development for HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country. "Authenticity, expertise, experience and results are the key drivers for the success of Flip or Flop, but when we factor in the unique market differentiators and successful people in other locations, it's a winning formula for strong ratings." In Flip or Flip Chicago, Mark and Liz Perez are inspired to improve older Windy City neighborhoods one house at a time, while Andy and Ashley Williams of FLIP OR FLOP Forth Worth are military veterans-turned-real-estate-investors who buy, rehab and sell run-down houses in Texas. FLIP OR FLOP NASHVILLE features real estate expert Page Turner and former NFL player and builder DeRon Jenkins, exes who still love working together to transform outdated properties into beautiful family homes.Videos
