According to Deadline, former HEROES star Ali Larter has landed the lead female role on TNT's upcoming pilot LEGENDS.
The actress will star alongside Sean Bean in the action-thriller, created by HOMELAND's HOWARD GORDON. The pilot, originally set for NBC, centers around Martin Odum (Bean), an operative with the strange, yet remarkable ability, to transform him inself into a different person for each different job. However, his identity is questioned when a visitor believes Odum isn't who he believes himself to be.
Larter will take on the role of 'Crystal,' an operative who shares a deep history with Martin, and isn't so keen on him returning to their task force.
Also tapped for the pilot are Steve Harris, Amber Valletta, Rob Mayes, TINA MAJORINO and Lux Haney Jardine, the site reports.
Jeffrey Nachmanoff (THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW), Jonthan Levin (CHARMED), Alexander Cary (HOMELAND,) and Gordon developed the project, initially inspired by the novel penned by Robert Littell.
When the project was originally announced, action-film star Brendan Frasier had signed on to portray Martin, but dropped out in November, citing 'creative differences.' Bean promptly stepped in.
