HBO to Air 2019 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY  Image

The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies are the inductees on the exclusive HBO special 2019 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY, debuting SATURDAY, APRIL 27 (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). This year's ceremony boasted a star-studded array of guests and presenters, including Harry Styles, Janelle Monáe, Don Henley, Brian May, David Byrne, Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Trent Reznor, Ian Hunter and Susanna Hoffs.

The special will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners' streaming portals.

The 34nd annual induction ceremony took place March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The HBO special spotlights some of the most memorable names in music through touching tributes and heartfelt speeches from presenters and inductees.

Stevie Nicks
Induction: Harry Styles
Performance: Stevie Nicks performs "Stand Back," "Leather and Lace" (with Don Henley), "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (with Harry Styles) and "Edge of Seventeen."

The Cure
Induction: Trent Reznor
Performance: The Cure performs "Shake Dog Shake," "Lovesong," "Just Like Heaven" and "Boys Don't Cry."

Janet Jackson
Induction: Janelle Monáe

Roxy Music
Induction: Simon Le Bon and John Taylor
Performance: Roxy Music performs "Out of the Blue," "Avalon" and "Editions of You."

Radiohead
Induction: David Byrne

The Zombies
Induction: Susanna Hoffs
Performance: The Zombies perform "Time of the Season," "Tell Her No" and "She's Not There."

Def Leppard
Induction: Brian May
Performance: Def Leppard performs "Rock of Ages," "Photograph" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me," and is joined by Susanna Hoffs, Brian May, Ian Hunter and Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone of The Zombies for "All the Young Dudes."


The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was established by legendary record executive Ahmet Ertegun and a group of music business executives to honor the artists who have defined rock and roll and have inspired and continue to inspire a generation. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. is the nonprofit organization that exists to educate visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll music. It carries out this mission both through its operation of a world-class museum designed by I.M. This year's special marks the eighth year HBO has presented the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The network also presented the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 25th and 30th anniversaries in 2009 and 2014, and a concert spectacular celebrating the opening of the museum in Cleveland in 1995.
