HBO has unexpectedly revived James Gandolfini's CRIMINAL JUSTICE.
After passing on the series just two months ago, the premium cable network has reversed their original decision, and has ordered JUSTICE as a limited series of seven episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The drama is based on the BBC BAFTA-award winning series from Peter Moffat, and is being adapted by Steven Zaillian and Richard Price. Oscar-winning writer Zaillian directed and co-penned the pilot with Richard Price.
The original series, set in New York City, followed a person through the justice system as they went on trial for murder. According to the report, HBO's reboot "will revolve around the first arc, which tracked Ben Whishaw as Ben, a guy who wakes up after a night of partying with a stranger to find her stabbed to death and is charged with her murder."For the original report, head on over to The Hollywood Reporter.
