Premium cable network HBO has signed a new long-term deal with 20th Century Fox to continue to carry the studio's films into the next decade.
Commented 20th Century Fox Television Distribution President Mark Kaner, “We couldn’t be happier to announce the extension of our long-standing relationship with HBO, the leading premium pay television service in the United States. We look forward to continuing our partnership as Fox evolves its distribution business within the ever-changing media landscape.”
Added Bruce Grivetti, HBO president of film programming, "Because of our long and successful partnership with Fox, HBO has been able to deliver to its subscribers some of Hollywood’s biggest theatricals. These films have always enhanced the value of the service so it is great that this ongoing relationship will now extend into the next decade."
HBO has been carrying Fox films for more than 30 years.
