Get your parade permit and call the band, Stand-Up Month is here on Comedy Central! Hannibal Buress kicks it off back in his hometown with the uncensored world premiere of Hannibal Buress Live From Chicago debuting on Saturday, March 29 at Midnight ET/PT. An extended and uncensored edition of the special will be available Friday, March 21 on CC: Stand-Up Direct, for fans that just can't wait for the on-air premiere.
Taped at The Vic Theatre in his hometown of Chicago, IL, Buress' second one-hour stand-up special features his signature dry wit and cool delivery. This time around, the
Comedy Central and
Broad City favorite rolls out new material about his own second line parade in New Orleans, fist fights in London, and many memorable late nights on the road.
On April 1 the extended and uncensored edition will be available on DVD exclusively via
Amazon.Com and for download on iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu and Target. The digital album will be available via iTunes, Amazon MP3, and other major retailers today, April 1.
Leading up to the on-air premiere,
Comedy Central Stand-Up and cc.com/Hannibal will feature preview clips from the special, including a special animated clip produced by CC:Studios. Buress will also take part in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" Q&A in the week leading up to the on-air premiere, and fans can follow him on Twitter at @HannibalBuress.
