As first reported on Deadline.com, Abel Ferrera and screenwriter Christ Zois are currently penning a script for an upcoming film which has been inspired by last year's scandolous sex charges made against International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn. According to the report, actors Gérard Depardieu and Isabelle Adjani are rumored to be possible leads for the upcoming film. The project is still in the very early stages of development.

Ferra, who has previously made films that involved addictions, is considered a perfect fit for the project. The script may possibly include other politicians who have been involved in sex scandels, such as Bill Clinton and Italy's Silvio Berlusconi, as well as Strauss-Kahn.

Asked about the rumors of his involvement in the project, Depardieu declined to answer directly but did comment, "In general, I'm very good at playing characters that I don't like or those that I don't resemble."
