According to the Hollywood Reporter, actor Keong Sim, best known as the father of ' Mike Chang in the Fox series 'Glee', will be joining the cast of David E. Kelley's upcoming pilot for TNT entitled CHELSEA GENERAL. The drama is based on CNN chief medical correspondent's Sanjay Gupta's novel 'Monday Mornings'. It will center on five surgeons in a medical facility that are under constant stress and pressure and are often pushed to the limits of their emotional and physical capabilities.

Sim's role as Dr. Sung Park is described as "an abrupt but socially awkward neurosurgeon who performs his job with a searing intensity and relentless ambition". Keong will join previously announced cast member Alfred Molina in the pilot.

In the current season of 'Glee', the actor has had a recurring role as the no-nonsense father of Harry Shum Jr's Mike Chang. His other credits include The Last Airbender and episodes of The Protector and The Forgotten.
