According to The Daily Beast, Gillian Anderson will appear in the fourth season of Netflix's The Crown. THE X-FILES star will portray British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.
Netflix has yet to confirm a release date for season three of The Crown.

Anderson is an award-winning film, television and theatre actress who won an Emmy, a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors' Guild awards for her role as 'Special Agent Dana Scully' in the TV series The X-Files.
She will soon return to the stage alongside Lily James in All About Eve, with performances running from 2nd February at the West End's Noël Coward Theatre.
The Crown is a drama that follows the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II's reign and the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. The show features Claire Foy, Matt Smith, John Lithgow, and more.
