Game Four of the 2014 NBA Finals, in which the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat 107-86 to take a 3-1 series lead, generated a strong 10.6 overnight rating on ABC, according to Nielsen. The broadcast peaked with a 12.0 rating between 11-11:15 p.m. ET.
The Game Four broadcast marks the 41st consecutive time an
NBA Finals game has won the night across all of television, nearly doubling its competition.
In the San Antonio market, the broadcast delivered a 47.4 rating, up from a 43.7 for Game Four last year. The rest of the top five local markets include: Miami (28.8); Austin (18.8); Memphis (17.5); West Palm Beach (15.8).
Game Four Scores Big on ESPN3
Additionally, the
NBA Finals continues to deliver huge audiences on ESPN3. Game Four generated nearly 400,000 unique visitors (398,000), up 52 percent from Game Four last year.

NBA Finals will continue with Game Five on
ABC this Sunday, June 15, at 8 p.m.
