Gabriel Bateman Joins CHILD'S PLAY Alongside Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry

Gabriel Bateman will star in Child's Play opposite Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

MGM and Orion Picture's upcoming remake follows the same plot as the 1980s original, centering on a single mom (Plaza) who gives her son (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.

The film is currently shooting in Vancouver with Lars Klevberg directing with a script from Tyler Burton Smith

Child's Play will be produced by Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg and Aaron Schmidt.
