GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today that Summer 2015 (June, July, August) was the network's most-watched summer in its 20-year history, in Primetime (8p-11p) and Total Day in Total Viewers (P2+) and its key demos, P18-49, W18-49, P25-54 and W25-54.

The network achieved this milestone through the strength of its original programming across the three-month period, including SKIN WARS, IDIOTEST, THE CHASE, CHAIN REACTION and newcomer STEAMPUNK'D, as well as favorites like FAMILY FEUD. Compared to GSN's previous summer high (Summer 2013) in primetime, they are up 24% in Total Viewers, 37% in W18-49 and 31% in W25-54. In Total Day, they are up 23% in Total Viewers, 15% in W18-49 and 12% in W25-54 versus the previous summer high (2013).

Looking at Summer 2015 vs 2014, in primetime, GSN is up 29% in Total Viewers, 63% in W18-49 and 39% W25-54. In Total Day, they are up 36% in Total Viewers, 60% in W18-49 and 37% in W25-54. GSN has also seen its highest rated month ever, in five of the eight months of 2015.

"When new viewers came to GSN this summer they were treated to a fresh new on-air look and buzzworthy competition shows like SKIN WARS and Steampunk'd," says Amy Introcaso-Davis, EVP of Programming for GSN. "The great news is that they also stayed for our top of the line contemporary shiny floor shows, The Chase, IDIOTEST and CHAIN REACTION and Family Feud.
