GOOD MORNING AMERICA Outdoes THE TODAY SHOW by Over 660,000 Viewers

ABC News' "Good Morning America" was the No. 1 morning program in Total Viewers (5.919 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.255 million) for the week of November 18, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. Taking the top spot in all 9 weeks of the season, "GMA" outperformed NBC's "Today" (5.257 million and 2.168 million, respectively) during the week by 662,000 Total Viewers and by 87,000 Adults 25-54. "GMA" built on its year-ago Total Viewer lead over the No. 2-ranked "Today" by 36% (+486,000 on w/o 11/19/12). Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached 22 million users last month. It is the No. 1 morning news website and beats Today.com by millions of users each month.

On Wednesday (11/20/13) "GMA" delivered its top morning telecast of the season in Adults 25-54 morning (2.435 million). In fact, GMA's Adults 25-54 audience on Wednesday was its top single-day morning newscasts in the demo in 9 months - since 2/25/13. Further, head-to-head, "GMA" beat "Today" by 403,000 demo viewers on Wednesday (2.435 million vs. 2.032 million) to register its largest single-day demo victory over the NBC program in 14 months - since 9/20/12.

"GMA" posted gains over the previous week (2.229 million and 1.515 million, respectively, on w/o 11/11/13) in Adults 25-54 (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%), hitting season highs in both key adult demos. In fact, "GMA" attracted its largest news demo audience in nearly 5 years - since w/o 1/26/09.

"GMA" has ranked No. 1 every week in Total Viewers for 16 months (the last 66 weeks - since w/o 8/13/12). "GMA's" 66 consecutive weeks at the top represents its longest stretch at No. 1 in more than 22 years - since before the 1991-92 season; Nielsen's electronic database started in September 1991.

In Adults 25-54, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 for the last 19 weeks, its longest news demo winning streak in more than 20 years - since w/o 2/22/93 to w/o 6/28/93 during the 1992-93 season.

"GMA" saw across-the-board double-digit gains over the same week last year: Total Viewers (+14%), Adults 25-54 (+14%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%) - 5.174 million, 1.976 million and 1.461 million, respectively, on w/o 11/19/12.

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program for the 2nd straight year in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" by 754,000 Total Viewers and 71,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has widened its Total Viewer season lead over "Today" versus the same point last season by 40% (754,000 vs. 538,000) to post its largest season margin in more than 22 years - since at least the 1991-92 season; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.

Growing for the 3rd year in a row, "GMA" is up over the same point last season in both Total Viewers (+12%) and Adults 25-54 (+7%). In fact, "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in more than 22 years and best Adults 25-54 performance in 6 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 2007-08 seasons, respectively.

During the week, "GMA" towered over "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+78%), Adults 25-54 (+99%) and Adults 18-49 (+109%).
