Special guests have been added to the lineup of THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS, which will be broadcast live from New York City, Thursday, Nov. 24 on the CBS Television Network. The parade will be broadcast 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon, live ET; 8:00-11:00 AM, live CT; 7:00-10:00 AM, live MT; 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon, delayed PT.
Emmy Award-winning actress Margo Martindale, star "A Gifted Man," on the Network; actor Hunter Parrish, star of "Weeds" and the Broadway revival of "Godspell"; actor Steve Guttenberg, star of the new Broadway comedy "Relatively Speaking"; and model Lindsay Ellingson, who will be featured in "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" Nov. 29 on CBS, will drop by to chat with anchors KEVIN FRAZIER from "The Insider" and Christina McLarty from "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider."
Broadway and country music star Laura Bell Bundy will offer an additional viewpoint of the parade as its "on-the-street" reporter during the event, as she reports and interacts with the crowd during the Parade.
A Thanksgiving tradition on CBS for 51 years, the special will feature portions of the 85th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live from New York City, as well as a performance by GRAMMY® Award-winning rock legend John Fogerty.
Additional performances during the Parade will include the Broadway casts of the Tony Award-winning productions of "Anything Goes" and "Memphis."
Frazier and McLarty will anchor from a site along the parade route in Times Square. The beloved parade is famous for its gigantic balloons of cartoon character favorites, fantastic floats and lively marching bands from across the country.
Emmy Award-winning producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss ("The Tony Awards") are executive producers for THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS. Weiss will also direct.
