"GMA" outperformed NBC's "Today" (4.908 million) by+605,000 Total Viewers to rank No. 1 for the 18th time in 18 weeks this season. In Adults 25-54, "GMA" tied for first with "Today" in rating with only 3,000 news demo viewers separating the two programs (1.76/2.090 million vs. 1.76/2.093 million).
"GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers for six months straight (the last 24 weeks) and in 29 of the last 31 weeks (behind "Today" only during the 2 weeks of the Summer Olympics). Further, "GMA's" 24-week streak at No. 1 marks its longest run in 20 years - since the 1992-93 season, w/o 11/9/92 - w/o 6/28/93.

Built on year-ago levels (4.956 million and 2.034 million, respectively on w/o 1/30/12) in both Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 25-54 (+3%), while NBC's "Today Show" (-10%/-14%) was down by double-digits.
Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" is leading "Today" by its largest season margin in overall viewers (+518,000) in more than 21 years, and in the key adult news demo (+66,000) in 21 years - since at least the 1991-92 season and since the 1991-92 season, respectively; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.
Season to date "GMA" is up in both Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%) versus its year-ago averages, standing as the only morning newscast to grow in the key adult news demo (NBC's "Today" is down -15%/-21%, respectively; CBS' "This Morning" is mixed +6%/-1%, respectively). "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in 7 years and best Adult 25-54 performance in 4 years - since the 2005-06 and 2008-09 seasons, respectively.
For the week, "GMA" nearly doubled the performance of "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+94%) and Adults 25-54 (+93%) with its largest Total Viewer advantage (2.672 million) over the
CBS program in nearly 5 months - since w/o 9/3/12.
