Growing over the previous week (5.010 million and 1.936 million on w/o 1/7/13) in Total Viewers (+5%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%) for the 3rd week in a row, "GMA" delivered its strongest performance since November in both Nielsen measures - since w/o 11/26/12 and w/o 11/12/12, respectively. "GMA" saw gains versus the year-ago week (4.910 million and 1.920 million, respectively on w/o 1/16/12) in Total Viewers (+7%) and Adults 25-54 (+3%). "GMA" stood as the only morning newscast to improve year to year in both measures, as "CBS This Morning" was mixed (+6%/-5%), while NBC's "Today Show" (-14%/-18%) saw double-digit losses.Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54.
