'GMA' Is No. 1 in Total Viewers for Week; Widens Lead Over 'Today'

ABC News' GOOD MORNING AMERICA ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (4.249 million) for the week of April 10, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led NBC's "Today" (4.066 million) by 183,000, widening its lead over the NBC program year to year by 12% (vs. 164,000 for w/o 4/11/16).

Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, leading "Today" by 182,000 (4.601 million vs. 4.419 million) to take the top spot at this point of the season for the 5th year in a row.

During the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+19%/+673,000), Adults 25-54 (+28%/+280,000) and Adults 18-49 (+32%/+227,000).

NOTE: Due to Good Friday (4/14/17), "Good Morning America" was retitled to "Good Morning Amer." The telecast is excluded from the weekly averages. "Good Morning America"'s averages are based on 4 days (Mon-Thurs).
