According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA beat yesterday's edition of NBC's 'Today' in both total viewers and the targeted adults aged 25 - 54. The show marked the debut of new Today co-host Savannah Guthrie who recently took over the spot from Ann Curry

Fast affiliate ratings show GMA posting a 6,000 advantage over Today with adults 24-54 (1.68 million over 1.674 million) and a 356,000 advantage among total viewers (4.425 million over 4.069 million). If these numbers prove to be accurate, it will be GMA's first Monday win in both categories since February, 2006.

Guthrie joined "Today" in June 2011 as co-host of the third hour and chief legal correspondent. Prior to joining "Today," Guthrie served as NBC News White House Correspondent from December 2008 to June 2011 where she contributed to all NBC News properties, including "NBC Nightly News with BrIan Williams," "Today" and msnbc. Guthrie also served as co-host of msnbc's "The Daily Rundown" from January 2010 to June 2011. She will continue her role as NBC News Chief Legal Correspondent.
