Two of the new books will continue the imaginative adventures of Alex and Connor Bailey -- blending reality and fairytales in the Land of Stories. The third will be a picture book titled THE CURVY TREE, which is inspired by THE LAND OF STORIES: THE WISHING SPELL. Brandon Dorman is set to craft the illustrations.
The books are set for release in 2014 and 2015.
Colfer is well known for his portrayal of 'Kurt Hummel' on Fox's GLEE, for which he has won a 2011 Golden Globe. He was also nominated for awards at the 2010 and 2011 Emmys. Aside from his bestselling LAND OF STORIES series, Colfer is the author of the comedy Struck by Lightning, soon to be adapted into a film.
