GLEE 'Give a Note Award-Winner' Introduces 'Who Is Stronger Than Me?' Picture Book

Author Eduard Ciobotaru invites young readers on a fictional journey of an amiable, inquisitive Ant who seeks to find out if others are stronger than him. He asks diverse insects and animals about their individual talents and discovers that each one possesses different strengths. By the journey's end, the Ant realizes that his biggest strength is "To Be A Friend." In addition to this engaging story, the book includes the song "Who Is Stronger Than Me?" in an attached music CD for singing along. As a professional musician/educator Eduard knows that music enhances the learning experiences of children in different developmental stages and improve their reading skills.

This first children's book by the author gives young readers an opportunity to learn about different animals in an imaginative and colorful way and to listen to the original song composed, orchestrated and performed by Eduard. Each character in the charming story come alive through the author's humor and voice modulation that will delight children and adults alike.

Eduard believes that it makes such a difference when we learn to embrace diversity and develop an appreciation for each others' gifts and talents. So through this story, he hoped to send a message to children and parents that it is more important to become cooperative than competitive and to avoid becoming self-centered. If we persistently compare ourselves with others, it can have a negative effect on us and on those around us.

He encourages and motivates children through his inspiring presentations and challenges his colleagues through his workshops at the district and state level to continue to believe in the power of music and creativity.

About the Author

Eduard Ciobotaru, a 2012 winner of the $10,000 "GLEE--Give a Note" award, became the only recipient from Florida to receive this distinction among Elementary school music teachers. Now his students in Broward County play instruments and spread hope and joy throughout the community. A graduate of the Performance Arts Conservatory where he studied opera, operetta and Broadway musicals, he has won first place in a Broadway musical competition. For the main TV station in Romania, he also composed and performed popular music in his early years.

His most recent CD release, "Move To The Beat", which is available on Amazon, is a musical gem that sparkles with positivity, energy and sincerity. Presently, he lives with his wife Cristina and their sons David and Kevin in South Florida where they are all committed to their faith, finding it to be a genuine source of strength and comfort in their lives.
