GLEE Amongst AFI Picks for Top 10 of 2009

The American Film Institute announced its official selection for the AFI awards, which honor the top television shows and films of the year. Amongst the nominees for 2009 is 'Glee', the FOX musical hit which ended its season finale on a high note last week, with 8.1 million viewers tuning in. Overall, the season has been a rousing success, becoming FOX's top grosser and generating 2 chart-topping albums, not to mention making stars of its cast.

Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
