GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS gives viewers an up close and personal look at the anything, but ordinary family life of this not-so-nuclear family, as Gene and Shannon transition from 28 years of "Happily Unmarried Bliss," to finally tying the knot.
"GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS is the ideal complement to our Thursday night comedy block that also features GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE. The series offers fans intimate access to an irreverent family, who are relevant to fans of music and pop culture which is our audience," said Michele Dix, senior Vice president, programming and development, AXS TV.
"I am truly happy that a new audience will get an inside look at my family and our lives," Simmons said. "Now that my children have grown up and left the house, watching the show will give me a continued sense of keeping an eye on them."
GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS was produced by Thinkfactory Media and the Gene Simmons Company. Adam Freeman, Adam Reed, Gene Simmons, Erin Kelly, Moriah Muse and Leslie Greif were the series executive producers.
