GAME OF THRONES has officially made it to Spain.
Accorinding to Entertainment Weekly, Fresco Film, the local production company handling casting for the hit drama's stint, recently put out a call for approximately 600 extras - and received 86,000 replies. Per the report: "The company needed to add more server space to accommodate the load. Many applicants needed the work, but one hired extra told the production he took a vacation from his high-level banking job to be on the show."
Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones is an epic drama set in the world of Westeros, where ambitious men and women of both honor and ill-repute live in a land whose summers and winters can last years. The Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning fantasy series concluded its ten-episode fourth season in June, with the fifth season scheduled to launch in 2015.
