HBO has recently re-negoitated its contracts with the stars of the popular drama GAME OF THRONES, signing them on for a possible seventh season and increasing their pay significantly, according to THR. Previously, the cast was only signed on through season six.
The GAME OF THRONES stars will also see huge pay raises for seasons five, six, and the potential seventh season. To compensate for the seventh season addition, this new negotiation will make the cast among the highest paid television stars to date. The primary actors, inlcuding Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) will recieve marger larger raises than the smaller characters, such as Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark).
GAME OF THRONES airs 9/8c on HBO.
