According to The Hollywood Reporter, all fifteen regular cast members of the FOX series GLEE, including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling and Harry Shum Jr. will return when the musical series begins its fourth season. No details have been released as to the number of episodes each actor will appear in.
It was reported yesterday that GLEE star Chord Overstreet is currently in talks to become a series regular on the show's upcoming season. The actor joined the cast in Season 2, but left after being passed up as a series regular for the next season. After an overwhelming fan response to his absence, the actor returned to the series once again in a recurring role.
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy told Vulture, "We've become like a family. I said to them anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show. I asked all of them, 'What do you want to do? What are you interested in doing?'"
In addition to the returning regulars, Season 4 will feature guest appearances by Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Hudson will play Rachel's (Lea Michele) dance instructor while Parker will portray a manager Chris Colfer's Kurt.
GLEE will return to Fox in a new timeslot, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET, on Thursday, September 13.
