Over the weekend, FreeForm announced the cancellation of its long running comedy BABY DADDY after six seasons and 100 episodes on the air. The show's stars, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry and Chelsea Kane, turned to Twitter to share the cancellation news and thank their fans and cast mates:

It's with a heavy heart that I type this post and confirm that Baby Daddy's next two episodes will be our last. We got the news last night that we will not be coming back for another season and as surreal as it seems right now, I can't help but feel beyond grateful for the incredible ride we've been on for the last five years. Thank you all for being a part of it. Playing Riley Perrin was the greatest gift of my life. Creating her slowly and polishing her cracked and crazy edges over the last six seasons was an honor and I will never be able to properly thank @daniel.berendsen for allowing me to bring her to life. I will miss her terribly and my heart aches knowing I won't get to flop onto that yellow couch every morning and be greeted by the smiling faces and unwavering acceptance of my second family. We are all Wheelers forever. Much like the pilot episode, this little show sort of fell into my lap and "it's amazing how the unexpected can take your life and change direction." Goodbye, Baby Daddy...

About the show: Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), is a young man in New York City living a bachelor's life with his buddy Tucker (Tahj Mowry), and his brother Danny (Derek Theler), a professional hockey player. Their lives are turned upside down when they came home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben's. Ben and his close knit family and friends, including his overbearing mom Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) and close friend Riley (Chelsea Kane) band together to raise baby Emma together, navigating lives and loves with a kid in tow.

The season six premiere picks up three months after the finale, and Ben is still enthusiastically searching for the mysterious Elle. Danny and Riley are hunting for a good doctor to help with the pregnancy, and Bonnie desperately wants to be involved. Tucker is back from Los Angeles, but he refuses to tell anyone what happened while he was there.
