Presented by Mike Entertainments, acclaimed Austin horror filmmaker Francois Larosa will mark the red carpet theatrical premiere of his latest film, Aghora: The Deadliest Blackmagic, this week.
The new paranormal / sci-fi thriller, Aghora: The Deadliest Blackmagic, written by Los Angeles Film Festival 2018 Award Winner Larosa and Shiva Prasad and produced by Vega American Productions, will play to a sold-out Austin crowd at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at South Lamar on Thursday, Sept. 13, beginning at 7 p.m.
The dark and demented horror film is a chilling portrait of a young girl unraveling within her fears and anxieties, leaving them prey to an inescapable evil story about an obsessed stalker, and co-workers who have been caught embezzling, utilizing blackmagic and using high-tech Science to destroy.
"We've all shuddered at bloodbath stories, but how does the SURVIVOR cope?" asks Larosa. "It makes you think outside the psychological box. This stays in the mind because it's different. 'Aghora' is scary, creepy and gripping!"
The film features a stellar cast, which includes Alexis Juliana, Stephen Latham, Tj Condit, Sunday Flint, and Scott Fulmer.
